North Peace Housing Foundation
The North Peace Housing Foundation is a housing management body established by Ministerial Order under the Alberta Housing Act. We provide a variety of housing options for seniors and low-income households in need throughout the North Peace Region.
North Peace Housing Foundation operates five seniors' lodges within the area: Fairview, Hines Creek, Manning and Peace River.
Seniors' Self-Contained Apartments
North Peace Housing Foundation operates nine apartment buildings specifically designed with seniors in mind. They are located in the communities of: Berwyn, Fairview, Grimshaw, Manning, Nampa, Peace River and Worsley.
North Peace Housing Foundation manages a number of homes in a variety of sizes and styles suitable for families in need. These family housing units can be found in the communities of: Berwyn, Bluesky, Dixonville, Fairview, Grimshaw, Hines Creek, Manning, Nampa, Peace River and St. Isidore.
North Peace Housing Foundation offers a couple of Affordable Housing options: a collection of mobile homes in Cadotte Lake that operate under the Sustainable Remote Housing Initiative, and Garden Court, a seniors' apartment building in Peace River operating under the Affordable Housing program.
For those unable to make use of any of our other available programs, the rent supplement program may be an option.
We have moved!
Our Central office has moved to 6780 - 103 Avenue, Peace River as of November 15th, 2017. Come visit us in our new office adjoining the Shell Rotary House across from the Peace River Hospital and Sutherland Continuing Care. [map]
